I was outside my apartment I got locked up for a previous charge he was my lawyer I had a felony charge he got me off 1 year probation anyway I got locked up today for the previous charge Mr Matthews was up at the jail before I got there I got out in 5 hours he is the best lawyer I had ever meet than...k you Mr Matthews best lawyer in stone mountain.

I was charged with false statement , forgery 1st degree and identity fraud. Also a warrent was put out for my arrest they also suspended my license. I came into the office of Careton Mathews he told me,He could get the whole case drop . He did exact what he promised, i turned my self in he showed up... for court he made sure i was able to bond out on all charges. He got my license reinstated he got all charges dropped. I would refer him to anyone. He stands by his words and make sure it gets done!!

Mr. Matthews is a outstanding lawyer. I hired Mr.Matthews for my criminal case as well as my car accident case. With the criminal case we had to show up for court several times, each court date Mr.Matthews was there on time and ready to fight my case. Mr.Matthew was able to get my criminal case for s...imple battery completely dismissed and off my record(round of applause). With my car accident case Mr.Matthew was always there to answer any questions and guided me the whole way through with the case. Mr. Matthews was able to settle my case with the amount of money that we was going for. I would recommend Mr. Matthews to anyone. He is very professional, always on time and there ready to fight for his client.

My boyfriend hired Mr.Matthews for a criminal defense matter. I totally wish we had did our research. I feel as if he told us what we wanted to hear to get our money for the case. He assured us that it was a weak case with lack of evidence and assured us he could beat the case. After we paid him in ...full he wasn't keeping us up to date on anything. I would call his phone and leave messages everyday it almost became impossible to contact him and find out what was going on as far as the case. Ultimately I felt like he lead us to believe he could beat the case up until 2 days prior to court. After weeks of calling him with no response he set up a meeting for us to meet him and he didn't show up so he decided to call us and tell us 2 days before the big court date that it was nothing he could do and advised my boyfriend to take the plea deal which was 20 years do 15. Of course we were devasted because the few time we would talk to Mr Matthews he kept saying he could beat the case. In court he seemed lost like he Knew nothing about the case. My boyfriend wasn't Happy with the deal but had no other choice because he told us if he took it to trial he would end up with 40 years. I wouldn't recommend this lawyer to anyone. He's the type to tell you anything to get your money. I felt like we paid him to do something a public defender could have done because he didn't help us at all. WE were not Happy with his representation and my opinion is he's not a good attorney.
