C. Suzette Ellis-Hoyle

Ms. Ellis-Hoyle has practiced law for thirty-seven years in Georgia.  She specializes in all areas of family/domestic law including divorce, child custody, child support, modification, contempt, legitimation, paternity and more.  She also has an extensive practice in the area of injury law, including workers' compensation, traumatic brain injury, catastrophic injury and wrongful death.  She has litigated many cases, including child custody and divorce matters, involving international law and treaties.  Some of those countries include Ethiopia, Eritrea, China, Belgium, the Phillipines, Jamaica, Ivory Coast and Ireland.

Ms. Ellis-Hoyle has been named an AV preeminent attorney by Martindale-Hubbell for over thirty years and has been awarded Top Lawyers in Georgia.  An "AV' rating denotes the highest degree of skill and ethics.  She has received inclusion in the Bar Registry of Preeiminent Women Lawyers, an honor afforded to only five percent of attorneys in the United States.   Ms. Ellis-Hoyle is also a member of the State Bar of New York, having gained admission in 1990.  In 1989, she co-authored a college textbook currently in use in college law and philosophy degree programs in Georgia.

Ms. Ellis-Hoyle has practiced in state and Federal courts throughout Georgia, as well as the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia.  She has served on the Board of the Atlanta Bar Foundation, the charitable branch of the Atlanta Bar Associations, as well as the Boards of other charitable and arts organizations.
