My fiancé took a plea FOR THE MAX time for what he was accused of ONLY because his lawyer lied and told him IF he chooses to go to trial he would be given MUCH MORE time... we only found out the max AT THE PLEA HEARING and by then it was TOO LATE ! He was the worst with responding and never told the ...truth !!! Don’t waste your money or your loved ones time by hiring this man !!!

Mr. Sheppard was appointed to 1 of my son in a murder case. Out of 4 defendants, Mr Sheppard client received a bond at the first preliminary hearing and went home. Mr. Sheppard didn't sugar coat anything for me. He let me know that my son can get life in prison but he would do what he could. Mr. Shep...pard is my son's angel. Had him for a teacher and as my criminal defense lawyer. He's a great teacher and a pretty good lawyer. If he'd took a case to trial I can tell he'd be ready to tie ass with your enemies. That's all that really counts in my book, watching your enemies look ridiculous in a court room. Doesn't matter i...f you win or lose baby.

Do not hirer him or if assigned a public defender run! He gave us some very bad advice which caused my grandson to do time even with the victim saying that my grandson did not rob him. The other lawyers were mad because he asked for a speedy trail (which was bad advice) and let my grandson take the... fall. He did not try to help at all. Run!! A minor, no gun, the witness said he did not rob him and my grandson got 8 years Why?
