I had a DUI arrest. There was no breathalyzer because the arresting officer said "You can take the test but either way you are going to jail' I figured I would wit to be tested later.I had no arrests on my record. Ray said it was a slam dunk and he could get me out of it. because of procedural pro...blems in the report. I told him that there were accuracy problems in the report and I wanted the body cam or car cam. He didn't seem to pay attention to anything I said but told me we would have some meetings to discuss strategy. Those meetings never happened and he didn't answer phone calls , for 2 years I got summons to appear in court and I had to call his office to figure out if I had to appear.One time they told me to appear and I wasted 3 hours before I was told that the case had been transferred to state court. 2 years later we had some court appearances and he assured me we were going to try this case. But then he changed his tune and said I should change my plea to reckless driving which I think has almost all the punishment of DUI. I told him we should fight it pointed out that the police report had inconsistencies so besides the city loosing the video cams what was said made no sense.I'm sure he never read that he was running around the courthouse with other cases. He came back with a deal that he claimed only involved limited community service and would not affect my insurance. It involved a nolo plea The judge rejected the plea deal saying she didn't accept nolo and Ray says "better, I can get you a first offender acceptation" and told me that Dui school was not that big a deal and he could send me a certificate for evaluation" I stupidly agreed not to fight it and got a lecture from the judge about my alcohol problem ( I have never had an accident). I soon learned that the punishment that I received was almost exactly what you get with a DUI guilty plea. I sent Ray a E-mail to tell him I was going to right a negative report and he sent back a E-mail within an hour (he normally would respond in 2 or 3 days) and said that he reduced the charge to reckless driving and had saved me from DUI conviction punishments. But all the the punishments he said he saved me from I got. I was naive I didn't do my homework and i was nervous in court and I trusted Ray. Don't trust Ray he is not your friend in court. If anybody wants to check this out I will keep all my records for a yer or 2.

Ray was great from the beginning. I was freaking out about my situation (DUI) but he explained the situation to me and put me at great ease.
