An Attorney You Can Count On

Expensive and Unresponsive
We would recommend you shop elsewhere for probate services. Difficult to contact, unresponsive to requests for updates, required constant attention including having to hire an additional outside counsel to ride herd on this case. We could not get this attorney to act on a timely manner nor present in...
This was a probate client who was extremely hard to satisfy and complained continually. Normally, I would have terminated the engagement, but I was concerned that the rancor between family members would result in most of the family inheritance going to litigation attorneys. Instead, we were able to finally mediate (after months of discussions) a settlement between the heirs and close out the estate at a relatively nominal cost - particularly when compared to the looming litigation costs they would have incurred had I not been able to mediate the settlement. I contacted the other side in the settlement and the email I received from them said: “we are pleased with your professionalism and services from your firm from the first meeting ….. Our only regret is we didn't contact you while ….. was alive to head off the issues we wound up dealing with. We have been meaning to send you a thank you as you had to deal with conflicts that were never necessary.
