DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY!!! THE WORSE EVER!

Not only did he forget to schedule my move-out date with these crazy landlords I had; that almost got me arrested because we had a TPO against each other, he cashed a check of mine that he Knew he should not have! I am reporting him to the Bar Association so he cannot do this to anyone else.

Divorce case

I don't recommend this lawyer at all especially for divorce cases. He is not accountable and honest with his clients from the beginning. He dragged my case and did nothing and he was not reachable by phone, email and even through his secretory. Finally I had to change my attorney and settle with my X-...husb.

My thanks to Mr. Romin Alavi

Life sometimes hit you when you least expect it and when that happens you feel the weight of the world is on you. When you go through the major storms of life in the legal world, if you do not have proper representation, your whole world can fall apart in a matter of minutes. Well, knowing that fac...t, I relied heavily on my inner feelings to hire Mr. Alavi on a case involving my son. This was a delicate case that could have gone sour if not properly handled. Well, after a few weeks of intense suspense, I am pleased to announced that Mr. Alavi's expertise delivered excellent results --all charges were dropped. It makes a significant difference when a passionate attorney works on your case. This attorney comes highly recommended from our family.

not good

I should have known something was wrong when the attorney I met with told me the attorney I spoke with on the phone was not a real attorney. Still, the guy I met seemed to know what he was talking about. They were expensive, and I had to meet my Dad to talk about money. When I came back, I met wit...h Mr. Alavi. Mr. Alavi promised me I would not lose my license and that I would not go to jail and that he would personally represent me and he told me how he treats DUI cases as a judge. He also cut the other guy’s fee by half. That was all he did though. At the first court date some lawyer showed up who I had never met before. He looked like a kid and he looked like he just woke up. He didn’t have a clue about my case and I don’t think he knew what he was doing. He tells me I either have to plea guilty or give up my license that day. I told him no and he panicked and called the office a bunch of times. He told me he couldn’t win the hearing but if I agreed to plea guilty I could keep my license. We were the last ones to leave and all I did was sign a form. I called the office to complain and was told Mr. Alavi would personally take over my case. Then I had to go another court and another lawyer shows up, not Mr. Alavi again. She tells me Alavi is sick and that I had to plea guilty because I previously agreed to. I didn’t understand and I was mad but she convinced me that if I didn’t do this I would go to jail. Here is the kicker though. I did go to jail anyhow. I had to turn myself in and spend the weekend in jail AND I lost my license. When I called the firm Mr. Alavi would not talk to me and his secretary told me there would not be a refund. The only lawyer I liked was not a lawyer and everything the boss told me was not true. I wonder if he is even really a judge.
