WARNING - DO NOT HIRE THIS LAW FIRM This law firm was hired to handle my Son’s Estate. It was a terrible experience because the law firm does not file paperwork on time. My son passed away in February - and the law firm forgot to file for the initial Letter of Testamentary, which delayed the e...ntire case. When I called Steele Law Firm in April, and asked why no movement was happening on the case, they blamed it on the court system. So I called down to the Cobb County Probate System, and they had no record of this lawyer even starting the case. The case was finally started in mid April - which was 2 and a half months after my son died. Failure to file paperwork caused major and costly delays for the estate. And the problems continued to escalate with further delays, no knowledge of my son’s case, and lies from this law firm constantly blaming the probate court system. (The problems are not with the court system - the problems are due to this law firm’s failure to file paperwork and failure to keep the court updated.) Stephanie Steele was fired from the case, and the case was turned over to another law firm - that has handled the case properly, smoothly, and timely ever since. WARNING - DO NOT HIRE THIS LAW FIRM

Worst experience ever with a law firm. My case was simply submitting an uncontested Will with one sole beneficiary – and Steele Law Firm made a mess of my case. Steele Law Firm failed to file necessary paperwork on time with the court system and failed to submit court cost fees – causing the court... to stop my case. Administrative staff was unorganized and incompetent. Anytime I called or emailed – staff was clueless as to what stage my case was in. I also received emails - instructing me to complete steps that had already been completed in the past. I even received a phone call - halfway thru my case – asking if I would like to “Become a Client of Steele Law Firm.” This law firm still did not know I was already client of theirs – even halfway thru my case. I finally had to release Steele Law Firm – and hire another attorney to finish up the case – resulting in thousands of dollars lost, stress, and time lost. Bottom line is – do not use Steele Law firm. I do not wish this horrible experience upon anyone, especially after just losing a loved one.

I hired Steele Law to handle my husband's estate. It has been a terrible experience. They were slow to file necessary paperwork. They were unresponsive. I also received incorrect information from at least 2 of their employees. Even. The attorney whose name is on the marquis did not call when she said... she would. Incompetent and unprofessional.

This lawyer represented me in a very complicated a case of modification of visitation and was completely and totally ineffective in presenting any type of defense in this case. The attorney addressed each new witness for the prosecution with "hello my Stephanie Steele I am Len's attorney" as if it wa...s her first case. Needless to say, the results ended with me losing significant time with my children that I will never get back. I chose Ms. Steele on the recommendation from Diane Woods of Huff Woods and Hamby that happened to be employing her. It was my opinion afterwards that Ms Woods recommendation relied on the fact that Ms. Steele was a novice and would benefit from the experience received. I however paid a large fee and received a very poor defense. I'm in the process of bringing charges againist Ms. Steele and the firm for negligance and ethics violations.
