Elinor M. Jones

After graduating from law school, I initially practiced as an insurance defense attorney. Although I now represent injured individuals, my experience working on the defense side provided me with a valuable perspective on personal injury litigation. I gained firsthand knowledge of how insurance companies and defendants approach these cases and how they evaluate and defend claims. That experience has allowed me to better understand what we are up against when advocating for our clients and has become an important part of my approach as a plaintiff’s attorney.

I chose personal injury law because our clients are often going through some of the most difficult experiences of their lives. They may be recovering from serious injuries, dealing with the consequences of an accident, or grieving the loss of a loved one. It is incredibly rewarding to have the opportunity to help clients through these difficult times, and I take great pride in having the opportunity to advocate for them.

For me, personal injury law is about more than the legal process. It is about the people behind each case. I value getting to know my clients, understanding what they have been through, and helping them navigate what can be an overwhelming process. Seeing a client achieve a positive result and knowing that I played a role in bringing some relief, closure, or peace of mind to a difficult situation is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

Outside of the office, you can often find me enjoying everything Marietta has to offer. I love supporting local businesses around the Marietta Square and attending the weekly farmer’s market. I also enjoy hiking Kennesaw Mountain, gardening, traveling, and spending time with my husband, Hatten, and our puppy, Lady Pamela. I have a love for music and especially enjoy anything that involves boating or being out on the water. I am grateful to live and work in a community I have called home for so many years, and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the people who make it such a special place.
