About Patricia
Biography
Patricia Ammari is a skilled and compassionate counselor to her clients. Patricia founded The Ammari Firm, LLC to help her clients care for their loved ones in the very best way possible. She founded the firm after helping care for her own mother and wanting to ease the burden of fellow care givers. She understands the importance of having good planning in place, and her goal is to help her clients sleep better at night. The Ammari Firm, LLC is a full-service elder and special needs law firm providing estate planning, special needs planning, probate, guardianship, and Medicaid planning services.
Unlike most elder law attorneys, Patricia began her law career as a litigator at one of the most prestigious law firms in the country. This experience taught her to provide excellent legal service and also provides her with the skills to advocate for her clients when matters require it. Patricia regularly travels to elder and special needs conferences across the country to ensure that she keeps up to speed with new changes in the law and national trends that could affect her Georgia clients in the future. And when the laws change, and they inevitably do, Patricia is often found training other lawyers on those changes at local bar associations, such as the Cobb County Bar Association or the Atlanta Bar Association.
In addition to serving her clients, Patricia is also an active member of the legal community. Patricia was appointed to the State Bar of Georgia’s State Disciplinary Board, not once, but twice by the Georgia Supreme Court. Patricia served two consecutive three-year terms. Patricia also served for a year on the State Bar of Georgia’s Finance Committee, and she currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cobb County Bar Association.
