Mitchell Lawrence Freehauf

Mitch Freehauf was born and raised near Joliet, Illinois. As a child, he lived in Marietta, Georgia. He graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A.   Mitch then obtained a M.Ed. from Georgia State University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He worked as a high school English teacher before deciding to pursue his long-term goal of practicing law.

During law school at Georgia State College of Law, Mitch competed in mock-trial competitions, winning a Southeast Regional Championship his second year, and taking home a National Championship trophy and Best Advocate Award his final year in a competition sponsored by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

After law school, Mitch worked in a downtown-Atlanta civil litigation firm, working on cases involving personal injury, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, contract disputes, and domestic litigation.  He then joined Champion Legal Resources in February 2009.

Mitch currently resides in Marietta, where he enjoys participating in the Atlanta Track Club, watching college football, working on his golf and tennis ability, and enjoying the various activities to be found in the Atlanta area.  He is an active member of St. Joseph’s parish in Marietta.
