I had a situation where I was given a ticket for not moving over for a police car on the side of the road. They didn't have anyone pulled over and it looked like a ticket trap to me. I couldn't move over because it was a 2 lane highway with traffic on the left so I moved over as far as I could to the... left without hitting a car in the other lane and went by the police car slowly. Next thing I know, I'm being pulled over and told that I went by them at a high speed, which was not true, but I didn't argue. They gave me a ticket and my main concern was not having points on my record impacting my insurance rate.
