When i was 20 i was arrested for a drug charge. I remember meeting hin he was very short and dismissive of me. Tonya his assistant glared at me as if i had hurt her personally. Well after waiting a long time to get my case heard they made a deal to where i plead guilty. 1st 2 years house arrest i sai...d no, and then they agreed to 1 right away. But 10 years probation 1st offender. He didnt explain anything well at all. In the court he said i mentioned names which never happened. Also in the discovery they mentioned i was associated with a gang of people. Which is also not true. I onky knew the knight of columbus CI who set me up for his deal. Bc he was actually a big time dealer. Myself i was pressed to sell something for a freemason family. I didnt know either of their family associations until later on in life.anyways jim said the police are just trying to get a promotion to make it seem like you are. I would later learn this was a chess move to smear my name in the long run. To make it look worse and more authentic instead of an engineered scenario to get me jammed up and get me cleared to be under years long surveillance by the various government agencies. They even came to my house on my 20th birthday oct 14 with swat team etc. As if i was a big time kingpin. Another smear tactic. The state woulda been better allocating their resources to catch big time criminals. But thats much harder and has less political motivation. Either jimmy berry is controlled oppositiin. Vic reynolds is the georgia government in part. And that tells you how it really is with jimmy berry. Him telling me not to worry about the strange baseless write up about me being ik a gang was later in my life revisited by me, and i realized he helped them smear me. Do not trust jimmy berry. He is also silencing matthew lanz. Deceiving him to not go to the sentencing. Jimmy berry is not an honest or good lawyer and does not work for you unless youre in their network and made a mistake. Be aware of this lawyer.

Mr. Berry was hired as CoCouncil due to his track history and relationships in Cobb County. He absolutely came through. I had 9 charges against me including felony Aggravated Assault and DUI. All charges were dismissed and Mr. Berry negotiated plea to a simple traffic charge. It is true that ...you never really win a DUI, due to the all of the costs associated with winning, but Mr. Berry made it as painless as possible.

This guy would make appts with me, I get to his office and he cancels, over & over. His advice never amounted to anything. He will delay the court date, make it seem like he's working hard and then let you know it's going to cost more when he's already top dollar. Once I finally got to court, the ...prosecution represented me better than Jimmy did.

We retained Mr. Berry for a probation violation and aggravated assault case. In our initial consultation, he told us he felt certain that he could get the case dropped and if not, he could definitely win a trial. He, nor his assistant Tonya, never (I mean NEVER) returned our calls (messages left) or ...updated us on the case. He didn't request discovery on the case until 6 months after he was retained, he didn't show up for our court date 4 times, and the one time he did, he was ill-prepared and ready to throw my husband under the bus just to be done with the case. Our family lives 2 hours away from where the case was held, and he would not even tell us when court was scheduled. He had absolutely no plan of action where our case was concerned; I think he just wanted to go in there and wing it. We ended up retaining another attorney who got us into court within 4 days, after Mr. Berry dragged his feet for 6 months and did nothing. We might as well have thrown our $7,500 out a window.
