Anne Goetz Sanford

Anne Sanford is a longtime Georgia native who has identified family law as her career passion. Working at Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor allows her to achieve her dream of providing skilled representation to clients that results in long-term benefits for them and their families.

Known among her peers for excelling in client interaction, the University of Georgia graduate is committed to communicating promptly with clients and being available for them. She strives to answer any and all questions, as well as calming client fears and nerves to help ease during the representation.

Anne’s desire to learn and research in an area of the laws returns volumes for her and the Firm’s clients. She particularly enjoys tackling new challenges. Anne feels two of her best assets are that she is detail oriented and likes to learn all she can about a topic before proceeding.

For Anne, the client-based approach of Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor ensures the best outcome for the client and having the Firm and its resources available helps her achieve the client’s desired outcome.

Although she has lived in the Atlanta area for all of her life, Anne, her husband and pets Addison and Ewa, their rescued Australian Shepherd mix enjoy exploring Atlanta. They can be found checking out local music festivals, sporting events (especially Georgia football games) and trying out new local restaurants. Anne is excited about being a part of the SMP team and contributing where needed to help maintain the firm’s high standard of client representation.
