Latrice Latin

Attorney Latrice L. Latin decided to step out on faith and, establish her own law firm, The Latin Law Group LLC in October of 2010. She set out to combine her interest in serving her community with her unique legal experience. She was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2007; received a B.A. from Georgia State University and a J.D. from Walter F. G. School of Law at Mercer University. She is currently sworn into the Northern and Middle District Courts of Georgia, The Georgia Court of Appeals and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Latin is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and enrolled to practice in the Federal Immigration Court. She began her legal career serving the community as a Public Defender in Fulton County and entered into private practice as a litigation associate litigating matters in numerous Superior, State and Federal courtrooms across the Metro Atlanta area.

Ms. Latin has recently narrowed her practice to include Immigration, Criminal and Personal Injury. While serving the Hispanic community in the Metro Atlanta area she has successfully vacated criminal judgments, defended clients in removal proceedings and filed various family-based Immigration Petitions for undocumented persons. She had a show live on air with La Vida 95.5 once a week to discussing immigration issues an answering callers questions.

The transition from federal bankruptcy litigation to immigration and a more client consumer based practice has proven itself well for her. She has successfully secured six-figure and seven-figure settlements for her personal injury clients and has assisted various undocumented persons in obtaining legal status in the United States.

Ms. Latin has been a guest speaker on GABWA’s Legally Speaking, she has done numerous radio interviews touching on various areas of law. She has also spoken, at various showcases, panels and classrooms on recent immigration matters. She is the local AILA chapter chair of the newly formed Crimm-Imm working group with GACDL.
