Eric James Tatum

I hired Eric because he was indirectly referred to me as a very capable divorce attorney. My husband and I had been legally separated for several years and my husband decided it was time for a divorce. I'm unable to work due to several health issues, and we are both in our 60's, so our issues were al...imony, health insurance, and retirement. Because I no longer live in Atlanta I met Eric's staff but not Eric himself. Eric's paralegal, Beth, is a pleasure to work with, she's very friendly and capable. And even though Eric hadn't met me personally he accepted my case, treated me with respect and communicated well. Most communication was done via email, as I live out of state. The responses to my questions or emails was always prompt. Beth answered many of my questions, keeping my costs down. At times when I felt bogged down in finances Eric was always able to help me see the large picture. He stayed focused on my needs and explored all the possibilities of how to reach our goals. He negotiated some tricky terms, as the terms of the Separation Agreement came into play in working out a mutual agreement. I'm so pleased with the divorce decree Eric negotiated for me. It covered the important and essential aspects of my needs, and it's final! When compromise is needed Eric is an excellent negotiator, and kept my needs in mind at all times. I needed a person who understand finances, and Eric fits that bill perfectly! He's very good with numbers. I'm so grateful Eric represented me and I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again.
