Phyllis Renee Williams

I began my legal career as an associate attorney with the law firm of Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, in midtown Atlanta practicing insurance defense law.  Drawing on my experience as an insurance defense lawyer and my experience as a claims representative for State Farm Insurance Company, I started my own practice in  1997, dedicated to representing clients in personal injury cases.  A few years later I expanded my practice to include divorce and family law, and estate planning. 

I am a seasoned trial lawyer with 20 years of experience trying cases before judges and juries in the State and Federal courts throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.  I have litigated cases from auto accidents, to premises liability, to products liability and well as high asset divorces, and numerous family law matters.  And, I have represented clients on appeal before the Georgia Appeals Court and Georgia Supreme Court. 

In addition to trial work I am a skilled mediator  and I have successfully helped parties navigate through complex and difficult matters and address issues in a productive format.
