I practiced family, criminal defense, and adoption law from 1993--2011, both as a Public Defender and private practitioner. I hired and developed receptionists, paralegals, law clerks, associates, bookkeepers, and practice managers.

In 2006, I transitioned to coaching attorneys in best practices for marketing, hiring, training, time management, and profitability. I conduct one-on-one sessions and lead large group workshops, normally for CLE credit in Georgia. I counsel attorneys both locally and long distance on every aspect of running a solo or small firm. I build and maintain professional/social profiles for attorneys on platforms such as Avvo, LinkedIn, Facebook, Super Lawyers, and more. I act as ghost writer for website content, blogs, firm newsletters and invitations. I draft and place ads for recruiting staff; review resumes; set up and conduct interviews; and facilitate skills testing.
