J. Kelly Viel

Kelly Viel is a Georgia native and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. She then attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in Denver, Colorado to obtain her law degree. While in law school, Ms. Viel was selected as an editor of the Transportation Law Journal. Additionally, she also worked in the Law School’s Civil Litigation Clinic of the law school assisting indigent clients in obtaining restraining orders. Ms. Viel spent the first ten years of her law practice handling a variety of litigation. She has effectively represented clients through all stages of litigation including matters involving tractor trailer accidents, slip and falls, dental malpractice, medical malpractice, false imprisonment, defamation and general liability. As a trial attorney, Ms. Viel also represents clients in domestic disputes including divorce, custody and support issues. Ms. Viel understands that these matters are emotionally difficult and her goal is to navigate her clients through difficult situations as quickly and easily as possible. Ms. Viel has been nominated by her peers as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2013.
