Steven R. Jacob

I contacted a large number of lawyers detailing my situation and desires. He was one of the first to respond. He explained exactly how he can meet my desires and detailed what to expect right away. He gave me a reasonable quote the first time. Every other law office took up to a week to respond or no...t at all, quoted me 2, 3, 4 times the price, or didn't seem to understand what I was looking for and described an approach to the situation that I was not comfortable with.

Steve is an empathetic and savvy attorney. He staunchly defended me in court and stood up in my defense against the opposing attorney in my divorce/child custody case. In addition, he sincerely listened to my concerns and adjusted his strategy accordingly....thereby helping to make me feel like this ...was a true partnership between he and I instead of a solo effort on his part. I felt very comfortable speaking to him about my case at any given moment. So much so that I now consider him a friend given the extensive amount of intimate details that I shared with him about my case. For those cost-sensitive people, he is not an attorney who nickels and dimes you to death like a lot of other attorneys. In light of that, I recommend Steve without reservation.

Jacobs was my attorney for almost a year in a child custody case. I should have fired him the first week! He's will disparage and belittle you to your face and behind your back. He will side with the opposing party. He won't defend you in ANY way. My ex left our infants in car by themselves.A Lad...y hysterically called police and my ex almost got arrested for child endangerment. I had police 911 tape ready to play it during trial, Mr. Jacobs refused to play it !!! He said Judge doesn't care about that! Can you imagine that?? You have evidence of neglect and child endangerment and your attorney WON'T PLAY TAPE. At one point, Judge told Jacobs to write the temporary order. Lazy JERK JACOBS let opposing side write temporary order and they destroyed me...taking time with my kids away and even wrote I needed to take "26 hours of in class anger management". Jacobs is king of malpractice. I am currently drawing up lawsuit against him. You have been warned! [info removed]
