I retained Miss Cherry on a modification of custody proceeding and this lawyer failed to file a notice of appearance and failed to properly serve the other party before I terminated her which was almost 6 months after I retained her it took her to file these petty filings and it was done incorrectly ...to begin with I do not recommend her she's a terrible lawyer and she does not know law.

Part 2 . After my first review, the little work that was being done seemed to have come to a stop. The defendant was not even served. The lawyers would not speak to me about the case and refused to work with my grandson unless and until I took down the previous review which was then true and now t...rue. There was a standoff. They did not complete $4000 worth of work and refuse to give a refund as a matter of fact; I have not seen a detailed list of how the money was used toward the case. They appear to use delay tactics to "earn" the fee paid. I am sure they are smart enough to make things look good on paper, even though I have not seen it. I have read some good and bad reviews about this firm. Do you want to be one of the bad reviews? I do NOT recommend.

Before you decide to proceed with this lawyer. DO NOT. Please save your time. There are more professional individuals you can work with. Not only did they take forever to get back to me, I had my appointment rescheduled 3 times. I had to contact the office to get a hold of why I’m not being cont...acted on my scheduled appointment. They made me waste time away from my business and work. They never started any paper work. Their office is very disorganized and does not return calls for over weeks unless you reach out consecutively. And on top of everything I had a family emergency and had to pull away from using their services as I had to leave the COUNTRY. and they are keeping the loan hostage. Without starting Anything. They haven’t lifted a finger and are unwilling to work with their clients. I wouldn’t recommend the decency of this practice to anyone. Not only did I have to waste energy to get an answer from them to start something but when they had to start something they didn’t and are now thinking they have a say in keeping money. I’ll repeat myself again, in the span of 3 days of being in contact. They did nothing. And want to keep everything. Yea…. Not a ethical leader.

Hired her to bring a family together, however, her lack of action and communication caused further strife in the family. Before she was hired, we agreed on the procedures for the case. I was paying the bill and wanted to be kept informed about the case. Once the payment was received, everything chang...ed, she went behind my back to the other party and cut me out of the process. Wanted to support a black owned business, unfortunately I learned that this business failed horribly. I felt they treated me lesser because I am black.
