Terrible experience

Miss Prince represented me when my wife left and initiated an action for separation. Unfortunately, my experience was horrible. She failed to return communication in a timely fashion. Sometimes my emails went weeks without response. She also failed to provide me vital information and details that... I had no way of knowing on my own. As a result, I suffered financially and agreed to terms with negative ramifications to me of which I was not aware until it was too late. Finally, she failed to honor my directive which caused me to hire another attorney to fix the problem that she created. That particular issue took nearly a year to solve and resulted in additional unnecessary expense. When you spend many thousands of dollars, you expect to have an advocate who represents your interests and takes good care of you. Based on the facts I presented, it is clear that I received anything but that.

A lawyer's duty to maintain client confidentiality is paramount and therefore it is not appropriate for me to address this review point by point. I can only comment that this review does not accurately reflect circumstances of any of my former or current attorney-client relationships.

Research before choosing

Ms. Prince, represented me in a non-contested divorce. I was quoted a price that I agreed with however, it increased and the amount tripled from the original quote. l was misinformed on a lot of information which caused signed documents to be delayed and never got to the courts in a timely manor. ...Because of this, I did my own investigation. Unfortunately, Ms. Prince, kept delaying the process for no apparent reason and didn’t keep me posted, resulted in losing additional tens of thousands of dollars. I had to hired another attorney to try to fix this huge loss but, the damage was irreversible. Now that I look back at this the only thing that I can think of is, that I should have researched before choosing representation.

It is unfortunate that "Anonymous" is allowed to publish defamatory statements against a professional while hiding his or her identity, particularly because the alleged events described by "Anonymous" are fictional. This account of an alleged attorney-client relationship does not comport with any of my policies regarding retainers (I do not give "quotes" and never have). Additionally, this account does not comport with reasonable outcomes under the law regarding divorce representation in general. The public should be aware that reviewers are not required to provide any proof or corroboration of their allegations contained in reviews. It is clear this reviewer (who appears actually to have left 2 reviews, while hiding behind the moniker "Anonymous") seeks only to defame me, rather than provide useful information to the public. As always, I greatly encourage any client, current or former, to allow me an opportunity to address any concerns you may have regarding my handling of your case.
