David William Martin

I am very happy to have hired Mr. David Martin in my divorce case. Mr. Martin is very knowledgeable on family law as he not only helped me to understand the process, but also take charge of the situation to allow my family the best outcome. He is very hands on and has a great understanding of famil...y law and his work shows. He was always available to communicate whether it be by phone or email and was always very responsive to questions from me or from my ex's lawyer. Mr. Martin was also very thoughtful of the final goal and not just about dragging out our case so that he may see more pay. This too me was another sign that I chose the perfect lawyer for my case!

I have had the privilege of working with many of Mr. Martin's clients, as well as numerous other lawyers in the area. We have been extremely impressed with the things we hear from his clients about the work he performs on their behalf. He communicates well and fights for what is in his clients' bes...t interest. We have seen him be a masterful negotiator with some of the most difficult to deal with people as well as being able to step into the courtroom and present a clear case in what some would refer to as, "bulldog" fashion. I would highly recommend his services on any family law matter. This is an attorney you should at least consult with before making any decisions on how to proceed.

I was referred to McKinney, Tucker and Lemel for a Family Law issue from another attorney. I was eventually passed off to Mr. Martin whom appeared to be a new associate at the time, but assured me Jim Tucker the Firm's Partner would oversee my case as well. I told him it was very critical to act sw...iftly on my case because it involved settlement money and a non-custodial parent that had left the country. Mr. Martin assured me he had the time to handle the case immediately and I took faith in that. I spent the next several months helplessly calling and emailing Mr. Martin who continued to ignore my phone calls. Eventually, Mr. Tucker, the Senior Partner, took over my case. $6000 later with multiple attorneys involved in other states, the case fell apart. I should have filed a Bar complaint against Mr. Martin, but hesitated because Mr. Tucker seemed to be trying to mend the disaster. It has been extremely unfortunate that my case was originally passed off to David W. Martin as my daughter lost out on a huge sum of back child support. I am only writing this review because it still bothers me to this day how poorly Mr. Martin treated us. If you are seeing this Mr. Martin, I hope you never ignore a client again and realize that when you take on case, that person is depending on you. To the client wanting to hire a Family Attorney that has your best outcome in mind, do not hire David W. Martin. He is not organized, nor is he equipped to handle a client honestly.

I hired David for a child custody case with my ex after a negative experience with a previous lawyer. David was great. He gave me the best possible outcome for my case under the circumstances. He was always easy to reach and extremely helpful. Even his assistant and the other lawyers at his firm were... extremely helpful and nice. David turned a horrible situation into a hopeful one. He really was a great lawyer.
