Daniel L Draisen

Daniel L. Draisen is a native of South Carolina, born in Greenville, SC, in 1972. He received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1994 and obtained his law degree from the University of Tulsa in 1997.

Mr. Draisen authored "The Model Rules of Professional Conduct and Their Relationship to Legal Malpractice Actions: A Practical Approach to the use of the Rules" for the Journal of the Legal Professional. He is a member of the Anderson County, Tulsa County and American Bar Associations as well as the American Association for Justice, South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity.  He is also elected to the SC Bar House of Delegates and is the Regional Chair and the 10th Circuit Chair for the SC Bar Resolution of Fee Disputes Board.  Mr. Draisen serves on the Practice and Procedures Committee and the Ethics Advisory Committee of the South Carolina Bar.  

Mr. Draisen was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1997 and was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1998.  He is also admitted in the United States Supreme Court, United States District Court, District of South Carolina, the United States District Court, Northern District of Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, and the United States Court of Veterans Appeals.  Mr. Draisen’s areas of practice include truck, automobile and motorcycle accident litigation, medical malpractice litigation, insurance litigation, civil litigation, serious personal injury litigation, boating accident litigation, real estate and construction litigation, contract and collection disputes, business litigation, workers' compensation, probate and estate litigation, and criminal defense.
