As an attorney, I know the importance of having high quality legal documents, which is exactly why I hired Shari to draft my own estate plan. I thought I could have done it myself, but the truth is that estate planning is a specialty and Shari helped to educate me about a number of considerations th...at I was not fully aware of as I practice law in other areas, including drafting contracts. In the end, I would have done myself a great disservice by drafting my own estate plan or by using some generic service like Legalzoom... After patiently answering a number of questions that I asked and then asking me a number of highly insightful questions that I had not thought to ask, I was told that my estate plan would be done in a few days. When Ms. Bevan's office called to let me know that my estate plan had been completed, I was surprised that Shari wanted to meet and review the document in detail. At the meeting where my estate plan was "delivered," Ms. Bevan reviewed the entire document and patiently answered every question that I had. It was clear that Shari was truly concerned that I not only understood each and every aspect of my estate plan, but that all of my "wishes" had been properly memorialized, which they had been. I was really pleased that Shari took so much time to make sure my estate plan was done right the first time and I was definitely surprised at how much there was to it, above and beyond the simple written documents... It is great to have found an attorney who actually cares about their clients and not just their fee. In fact, I was so impressed with Shari's work that I have referred several other satisfied clients to her as well.
