I was laid off while on workers comp, If I sign a release of claims, am I releasing my employer from liability from my injury?

I agree with Kenny BUT if you've been laid off why would you sign anything? Who does that benefit other than your employer?

Yes, if their is a resulting impairment to the leg. However, being laid off or quitting/retiring during comp can impact case in different ways....

There's no set dollar value- the doctors rating, how much you make per week, type of settlement, work restrictions etc.
