About Kathryn
Biography
As a family law attorney in practice since 1994, I have the skills and experience to represent clients with issues relating to child custody, adoption, alimony, child support, visitation, and divorce. I practiced several years on my own and then in a partnership with my father, before joining DSS in 2003 to prosecute child abuse and neglect cases, so I also am keenly suited to represent clients in DSS-related matters. I had the pleasure to teach part-time as an adjunct instructor at Greenville Technical College for the paralegal, management, and criminal justice departments. I am a certified family court mediator and provide instruction for lay Guardians ad Litem. I joined McIlveen Family Law Firm in January of 2019 to focus on private sector needs. With my three children, we foster rescue dogs and stay involved in the Upstate community where I grew up.
