Mallary Winter Hitchcock

Mallary W. Hitchcock was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina like her parents Bob and Dawn Hitchcock. After graduating from Myrtle Beach High School, she attended the Honors College at the College of Charleston. There, she earned two Bachelor of the Arts Degrees in History and Political Science and graduated with honors in 2008. During law school, Mallary clerked for Hearn, Brittain, and Martin, P.A.

She then clerked for the Law Office of Natasha M. Hanna, P.C., where she later returned as an Associate in the fall of 2012.

She obtained her law degree from the Charleston School of Law in May of 2011 and was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in November of that same year.

After law school, Mallary began a fellowship with the Cornell Death Penalty Project at the South Carolina Death Penalty and Resource Center. There, Mallary gained a unique perspective and learning experience in the fields of criminal law, post conviction relief, and federal habeas corpus.

 The fellowship also confirmed her passion in the field of criminal defense. Mallary’s field of practice includes civil litigation, personal injury, criminal defense, and real estate. Mallary is also active in the local community as a board member of Caring in Our Lifetime and The Coastal Samaritan Counseling Center.
