Seth A. Levy

Seth Levy received his license to practice law in 1984 from West Virginia, in 1985 from New Jersey, and in 1989 from New York.  During this time and for the next 12 years, he consulted on legal matters concerning the environment, energy, and public utility industries in the New York Metropolitan area.

In 1998, Seth settled in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Heidi, and their two children. Over the next 17 years, Heidi and Seth owned and managed two service-oriented companies, Maxcare Floor Care and Solar Energy Solutions of the Lowcountry.  When Heidi passed away in late 2015, Seth sold the businesses and was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in May of 2017.

Due to his experiences, Seth is focusing his practice on assisting individuals and families with estate planning, estate and trust administration, Medicaid/long term health care planning,  guardianships, conservatorships, and asset protection and preservation strategies.

As a single father, Seth devotes the majority of his time and energy to providing for his two children and establishing his law practice, all acts done in the loving memory of his wife.  In his spare time, Seth likes to get out with friends on the Foothills Trail or the Appalachian Trail for hiking and camping weekends.  He also attends religious services, plays basketball, does yoga, and occasionally volunteers for cleanup outings with Charleston Waterkeeper.
