Jenny is an attorney whose practice focuses on family law matters, estate planning, probate, and probate litigation. She represents clients in a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, alimony and child support, child custody, legitimation and paternity, adoption, domestic violence and protective orders, and she is a trained Guardian ad Litem. Jenny advises individuals and families on wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, and long-term planning, and represents clients in contested probate and estate matters, including guardianship matters for adult loved ones with ongoing support needs.
She assists families with complex and sensitive situations that often involve overlapping family law, probate, and financial issues, and she is experienced in guiding clients through both litigation and post-litigation planning. Jenny works closely with families to implement court outcomes and long-term solutions, including coordination of parenting plans, support obligations, fiduciary appointments, estate plans, beneficiary interests, and deeds, with careful attention to fiduciary responsibilities, financial stability, and long-term family needs. Jenny is admitted to practice in Georgia and South Carolina.
Jenny received her Associate of Arts from Oxford College of Emory University and her Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, in Public Policy from Georgia State University Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. In 2014, she earned her Juris Doctor in just two and a half years from Georgia State University College of Law.
During law school, Jenny volunteered with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation Safe Families Office to assist victims of domestic violence and stalking and served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Wendy L. Shoob in the Superior Court of Fulton County. Her research on establishing paternity and legal parenthood was featured at the 2014 Georgia Family Law Institute.
After relocating to South Carolina, Jenny continued her work in Georgia in addition to working with Motley Rice before taking the South Carolina Bar and began her practice in South Carolina in 2019.
Jenny has served as Co-Chair of the Family Law Section of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia and is a graduate of the Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the State YMCA of Georgia and currently serves on the Board of East Cooper Montessori School.
Jenny has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars multiple years.
In her spare time, Jenny enjoys staying active in her local community and playing golf. Jenny and her husband, Danny, live in Mount Pleasant.
