Jeffrey B Foote

I am the founding partner of Foote Immigration. I can almost guarantee that I will be the tallest attorney you will ever meet, standing 7 feet 1 inch tall (or 215 centimeters)!

Prior to going to law school, I graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Following graduation, I played basketball professionally all over the world. I lived in Israel, Lithuania, Spain, and Poland during my career. I also played in Greece, Italy, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Partisan and Croatia. I even briefly played in the NBA in New Orleans. Through my travels I was constantly dealing with Visas, passports, and entry rules for different countries. This sparked my interest in how different countries handled their own immigration procedures.

After I finished playing professional basketball, I went to law school at the University of Miami in Coral Gables Florida. I graduated Magna Cum Laude, and was awarded the CALI award for Professional Ethics. I am currently licensed in New York and Florida, as well as all Immigration Courts in the United States. I have won asylums on the border in Texas, sued U.S.C.I.S. in federal court and won a man’s naturalization, and have obtained numerous green cards and visas through employment-based procedures. I also routinely appear at detention centers to represent detained clients.

I am the sole attorney at Foote Immigration, and that is so I am aware of everything going on in the firm and with your case. My two biggest pet peeves are when law firms consistently change a client’s attorney or paralegal, and when law firms don’t return or answer calls. My mission is to ensure that if you hire my firm, you will only work with 1 Immigration attorney during your case – me , and that you can always get an answer or call back quickly.

I am is also a family man that loves dogs. I loves American football, and the Philadelphia Eagles in particular. I enjoy cooking and taking care of my yard and home.
