I am originally from Moncks Corner, South Carolina.  After being sworn into the South Carolina Bar, I practiced in Horry County until I returned to Charleston in 2013.

When I'm not practicing law, I attempt new recipes, try to become a runner, sing loudly and offkey, and read. My husband and I live in Ravenel with our children and cat (who has enough personality for two humans).

Good listener, detail oriented
After hiring a different attorney and feeling like they were not fighting for me and did not have my best interest in mind, Megan came referred by a highly experienced and well known attorney that I called for a consultation. Throughout the length of the litigation Megan was able to stay organized with all the details in my case and never made me feel like I was being petty over my wants like the previous attorney. She was willing to listen. She fought until the end for a parenting plan that suited my specific needs (having a long distance visitation situation) and surprisingly we were able to settle out of court due to her negotiations with the opposing counsel. Despite the high profile attorney of the opposing party she was not intimidated and performed well in the court room for the appearances we had. Her billing was reasonable and I did not feel "nickel and dimed" like I did by the previous attorney.
