Mrs. Parker hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she completed her early education before graduating from the New York Military Academy in 1992. She furthered her studies by earning a bachelor’s degree in 1996 and a master’s in 1999. Her initial career path led her to work with churches in youth ministry and establish Home of Agape, a non-profit for supporting inner-city youth in the juvenile system. Her dedication to service took her to Montana, where she worked at St. Labre Indian School with the Cheyenne and Crow communities. Upon moving to South Carolina in 2003, Mrs. Parker worked in Child Protective Services before attending Charlotte School of Law. As a law student, she interned with the Charlotte Mecklenburg District Attorney’s Office and served as in-house counsel for Family Dollar, graduating with honors and publishing insights on the Fourth Amendment and GPS searches. Mrs. Parker remains committed to advocating for vulnerable populations through her practice in family law, as well as representing clients in Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and criminal cases.
