Stacey Tarte Meyer

I joined McWhirter, Bellinger & Associates in 1994 and now hold the role of managing shareholder. I work primarily in the  Columbia office and practice in the areas of automobile accidents, workers' compensation, wrongful death, premises liability and all forms of personal injury.  I received my B.A. degree from Virginia Tech in 1989 and my law degree from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law in 1994. I was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1994 and the United States District Court, District of South Carolina, in 1995. I have served as an adjunct professor in the paralegal training program at Orangeburg/Calhoun Technical College as well as a member of their Advisory Board for Paralegal Studies and Criminal Justice.

I am a member of the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Education Association, South Carolina Association of Justice, and Injured Workers Advocates.   I am also a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and its Torts and Insurance Practice sections, a member of the Richland County Bar Association and the former co-chair of the Richland County Young Lawyers Division.
