I called Mr. Melnky right after I got my CDL ticket. He started working on it from day one & did not let up till he got it dropped. It took him almost a year because the trooper did not want to let it go. But Mr. Melnyk did not let up. I had resigned myself that there was no way that trooper would le...t it go. So I went a head & paid it w/o letting Mr. Melnyk know. Two months later I got a text from him saying he got it dropped! I could not believe it. I said What? I said I already paid it because I did not seeing it getting dropped. He said " Well I don't give up". You will be getting a refund. Sure enough he was right on the money. I got a refund from SC a month later. I hope I never get another ticket in SC or anywhere else but if I do. I will be calling Mr. Melnyk again. :)

As a Trucker, my CDL translates to my livelihood. So it was a necessity for me to find a competent lawyer to represent me upon receiving a very damaging traffic violation. I contacted Mr. Melnyk after receiving astronomical retainer fee quotes and speaking with lawyers who I didn't think took intere...st in my situation. Honestly you never know when dealing with an attorney but after talking with him I felt a sense of ease Mr. Melnyk explained to me his strategy of how he was going to attack my case. After a short period of time we got the results in which we wanted. CASE DISMISSED!!! He was very honest and straightforward with me of what he could and couldn't do. I respected and trusted his professionalism in regards to my case. I must say I am satisfied and glad that I chose David Melnyk as my attorney

I hired David Melnyk to represent my husband in a federal/state case because his pre-sentence credit was incorrect and we tried to get it done but it was a very frustrating issue because when dealing with duel custody state will say one thing federal (bop) will say something else. So I hired David ...and he had to deal with state, federal and me and always maintained a professional relationship with all involved. We went back to court and was unsuccessful but David didn't STOP he continued to try other routes and was able to get us our jail credit we was due. So I would recommend him and say he is very friendly, professional, and will work for you, and he makes himself available for his clients, he drove twice 2 1/2 hours drive one way to sit down and talk with my husband, and how many lawyers do that??? Just to make sure he was doing what my husband wanted. He is the right choice for anyone and I very highly recommend him.

I paid Mr Melnyk $2800.00 in June of 2019 to handle the custody case of my granddaughters. Once i gave him the money he never answered a phone call, never returned an email or a text message. He never filed a single paper, never showed up in court. Nothing. He took my $2800 and never did anything t...o earn it. I would not recommend him to anyone for anything. He took my money and did absolutely nothing to earn it. He still has not returned a single call or message.

I paid him to handle a traffic violation which seems to be easy for any lawyer. Took him 3 months before even contacting me after paying him. He never showed up to court for me and it's impossible to reach him. Horrible service. I'll probably end up paying another lawyer to clean up his mess. A waste... of time and money. I've read worse reviews on him and I may take further action to bring justice to everyone else he's screwed over!
