S. Murry Kinard

Murry Kinard is a 1986 graduate of Lexington High School. He obtained his undergraduate degree in 1990 from Lander College where he played basketball and served as Student Body Vice President his senior year. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1993. Murry clerked for the Honorable Thomas L. Hughston in Greenwood, South Carolina, following his graduation from Law School. After his clerkship he was a partner at the Law Firm of Walker, Morgan and Kinard in Lexington, South Carolina. He is a founding member of the firm of Kinard Law Group in Lexington. Murry has 30 years of expertise in several areas including domestic litigation, civil litigation, criminal litigation and serves as a mediator. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy and their 3 children. They are often found watching sports and boating around Lake Murray. He loves his family fiercely and his children are his pride and joy. Harrison is at University of South Carolina School of Law with plans to graduate Spring 2024. His daughter, Bryce, is in her 2nd year at MUSC in the doctorate of Physical Therapy program. His youngest daughter, Ellie, is a junior at Clemson University majoring in Nutrition Science.
