S. Murry Kinard

Murry Kinard has represented me on a couple of different occasions over the years. I have been totally satisfied and truly believe he has my best interest in mind. He clearly explained the law and different scenarios to my questions. He is not going to mislead you or give you information you would... like to hear. I have found Murry Kinard to be an outstanding attorney. He was timely and responsive to any actions or request that I had. I have been with Mr. Kinard for over a year, we came to him at a time of crisis and he was very receptive to our needs. He was involved in both my family court and criminal court cases. Mr. Kinard was precise and collected, he was very fast to answer calls and/or get back with me at an expedited rate.... I was able to see Mr. Kinard at any time based off of my schedule and needs. Our teenage son is like many in this community. He innocently began experimenting with substances when he went to high school. But unlike many teens, his experimenting quickly progressed into a medical disease called addiction. Left undiagnosed and untreated, this disease could have destroyed not ...only our son, but also our family. Because addiction often results in socially unacceptable behavior, our son's problem with addiction was also impacting his school mates, teachers and administrators, his co-workers and supervisor, and his friends and neighbors. When his addiction became so unmanageable that he got arrested and was facing serious legal trouble, we reached out to Murry Kinard. Mr. Kinard provided our family with a sense of peace. He was knowledgeable and experienced, non-judgmental and objective, and well connected to and respected by other professionals in the justice system. He knew exactly what steps we'd need to take to help our son not only get the legal representation he deserved, but also the medical treatment he needed. Mr. Kinard was always prompt, professional, and accurate. His administrative staff was always responsive, courteous and kind. But, what impressed us most about Mr. Kinard was that he took the time to sit with our son, and in a way that our 16 year old boy could understand, he advised him of the laws, his legal options, and the possible consequences of his decisions. As a result of Mr. Kinard's legal advice and assistance, our son has now come to the end of his requirements to complete Pre-Trial Intervention. Our son has completed his community service, has worked to pay his fines, has gotten the medical treatment he needed, and is back in high school earning his degree. We believe that our son's successful outcome and hopeful future is in large part due to the legal assistance we received from Murry Kinard. We highly recommend him and his law firm for any family in need of these type of legal services.

Let's be honest: there are VERY few times in someone's life when they WANT to hire an attorney. But sometimes, you need to. Murry was always upfront and honest with me, and never made me any false promises about what he could or could not do. He laid out my options, made a recommendation, and explain...ed it thoroughly. Any time I called or emailed, I got a prompt response. Hopefully I won't need his services again, but if I do, there is no question in my mind that I would hire him.

If you want a lawyer who you have to email and call numerous times to get answers to questions that should have be given with out having to ask for them and takes weeks to get a response.... If you want a lawyer who plays defense rather playing offense and tip toes around without being bull dog ag...gressive... If you want a lawyer who makes you feel your case isn't as important as the others he's working on.... If you want a lawyer that will cause you to stress more about you case then you would without having legal counsel.... Then I highly recommend retaining Murry. He's wasted 9 months of our time and thousands of our hard earned dollars. Not to mention his decisions have now delayed the process and has created additional money loss. He lacks on the processing papers department and that is a key asset in being a great lawyer. Save your time, money and endurance and find yourself another lawyer.
