Ms. Boykin represented my son and our family during a custody case involving his sons. I had to hire an attorney because the mother had taken the boys to another state and we lost contact with them for 6 months. A private investigator was hired and found the boys within days - which got the mother ...(and boys) back here and Ms. Boykin started working on preparing for a custody hearing. I don't know if the judge was simply "real" mad at the mother, if Ms. Boykin is a super great attorney or a combination of both - I suspect it was both but we ended up with a better custody agreement than we thought possible. This grandma is very pleased that she is now spending lots of time with her grands! In case you want to know what the agreement was: every weekend, half of summer/winter vacation, every other year for tax deductions, equal division of holidays, notification of school events and if the mother takes the boys out of state without notifying my son - he gets custody. They share evenly the cost of medical expenses. The mother also has to provide a way for the boys to phone their father and not interfere with them doing so.
