Morgan M.L. Schriner offers clients a unique and insightful perspective shaped by her interdisciplinary education and dedication to public service. Raised in Central Ohio, she relocated to Asheville to attend the University of North Carolina at Asheville, developing her own major focused on the study of criminality from sociological, psychological, and political viewpoints. After graduating, Morgan attended the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she actively participated in organizations such as the Anti-Death Penalty Project and the UNC Innocence Project, and gained experience through internships with the NC Department of Justice and the ACLU. Morgan’s research work with Professor Joseph Kennedy and the NC Center on Actual Innocence furthered her commitment to justice. In her free time, Morgan enjoys hiking, cooking, painting, reading, global travel, and sharing her culinary adventures through a personally authored cookbook.
