As one of the few fifth-generation North Carolina attorneys in the state, I bring a wealth of knowledge into my practice. Prior to opening my law office, I served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stephani W. Humrickhouse, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. I have clerked in offices across the state, which practiced in areas ranging from estate planning to criminal prosecution. I also serve as a volunteer with Pisgah Legal Service's Mountain Area Volunteer Lawyer Program.
