BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!! I hired this company in March 2024 to do some work for me. I was proactive in hiring them so that it would be done by the time I needed it done. I gave them all of the paperwork they needed by the end of July so they could ...proceed to file my petition in August as we planned. They stated if I hired them early they would have the petition ready to file - this was a lie. The attorney I originally hired mysteriously no longer works there so I had to agree to a new attorney. My original quote was $2500, I paid that in full up front, however the costs continue to increase and they had exhausted the entire $2500 plus another $1000+ before they even got to the point of filing. I only met with my attorney once and his assistant once so who knows where the money went. Even with having all of the paperwork they continued to delay my case and cost extra money for months. I called, emailed, messaged - no response. If I received a response it was "we are still working on your petition". The entire practice here is a scam! after 9 months of delays and lies from this firm I reached out to another attorney. He showed me that the petition was a simple form they fill out and file with the courts - I met him, signed the petition, provided all of the same paperwork that I had provided King law, paid him a fraction of the cost and he had it filed within 24 hours. This place offered me a measly $165 refund for them failing to do any work on my case! The practice is a sham - they take advantage of their clients and bill them astronomical fees and delay their cases for additional compensation. DO NOT HIRE THEM! I will be posting this review across multiple platforms and filing a complaint with the NC bar for ineffective assistance of council. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!
