This attorney did not appropriately respond to my daughter's multiple requests to contact her with regards to her upcoming hearing. He asked the presiding judge to continue her case. The DSS attorney requested that the case be heard. The judge agreed for the case to be heard that day. A few moments l...ater, Mr.Curtis stated to the judge that my that another public defender take the case as he had too many cases. Therefore, the case indeed was continued as a new attorney would be taking this case. I can't help but think that was the reason he never communicated with my daughter prior to this court date. I personally traveled from out of town to testify on her behalf. This did not need to happen.

This lawyer is the attorney for family, and I've seen him in action in court many times, within past 2 years. Attorney Curtis likes to give mothers a very hard time in the courtroom, so he makes sure to get his way, with interrogation questions. He tries to get the exes to pay his attorney fees, al...so. My family has never seen anything like this before.
