I payed $1500.00 to represent my mother in a restraining order case which she insisted that I needed representation. Never having been in this situation I took her advise. I met with her for approximately 20 minutes and then found out from another attorney and the Magistrate that I did not need an at...torney for this case. When I told her the next day that I did not need her to represent us in this case and that my elderly mother could not afford this money if it could be handled by the court judge. I asked for my money to be refunded.She never responded to multiple phone calls and messages left. 3 weeks later I received an invoice for over $950.00 for 4 phone calls of which I only spoke with her 1 time on the phone for 3 minutes and I have phone records as proof of this. In addition she charged me $375.00 for an hour consultation which was only 20 minutes. On the invoice the dates of service and phones calls did not reflect the correct dates of phone calls or the 20 minute consultation.

This attorney has been handling family law for me since last october. Every time we have walked into a courtroom we have gotten the desired results. I dont know what issues the other reviewer had with her but my experience has been very positive and her rates have been great. Only thing i could poss...ibly ask for is for courts to move faster but we all know thats not happening!

This lawyer allowed her personal problems at home to dictate her actoins as an attorney, thus causing me extreme hardship financially, two months of wasted time-essential filings, and I have ZERO to show for it.
