BOUTIQUE PRACTICE PROVIDING EXPERTISE IN COMPLEX LEGAL AREAS WHILE PUTTING CLIENTS FIRST.

Justin is licensed to practice law in North and South Carolina and is the managing partner of The Humphries Law Firm, P.C.

Justin was born in Raleigh, NC and went to high school in Hilton Head, SC. During his high school years, he spent a substantial amount of time working in restaurants. During his time in the service industry, Justin developed the belief in customer centered service that he’s carried with him since and applies to his law practice.

Justin attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a B.S. In Business Administration with a specialization in International Business. While attending college, Justin was a member of Alpha Beta of Chi Psi and worked as a grill cook in a downtown sports bar. Following college, Justin attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University where he earned his Juris Doctor degree with honors and was the founding member of the Campbell Law chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union.

Once he obtained his license to practice law, Justin began working at an insurance defense law firm in Wilmington, NC. For the first six years of his legal career, Justin represented insurance companies, cities and towns before the state and federal courts of North Carolina and South Carolina. While the insurance practice was successful and challenging, Justin decided to join fellow Campbell Law classmate Mark S. King’s law firm in Wilmington to focus on a more rewarding practice of helping people fight the insurance companies and helping businesses grow to reach their full potential.

Professional and Caring
Mr. Humphries assisted me with an employment matter than took approximately 8 months to resolve, start to finish. He was helpful, patient and professional. During the time that we worked together on my case, I referred another client to him due to being so pleased with the working relationship. Mr. Humphries demonstrates professionalism, respect to his clients and cares about the client's experience in the process. I will continue to recommend him to others in need of an attorney for employment/legal matters.

Great attorney, solid advice.
Justin helped me through a contract dispute with a renovation contractor. He gave me solid advice on how to craft a letter and suggested its contents to resolve the dispute. Would definitely consult with him again. Thanks so much.

Trademarking Logo- Wonderful Experience
I went through Mr. Humphries office to assist with trademarking a logo for my small business. As a new business owner and operator, the process was extremely hassle free. All of his staff were incredibly knowledgeable and informative through the entire process. They were extremely diligent in ensuring I had all information as it came back to their office and in a very timely fashion. They also made additional suggestions for my trademark to ensure I would not run into issues in the future by protecting the special characters within my logo. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I would absolutely recommend him and his staff to anyone without question!
