I help individuals and businesses obtain and maintain legal protection for their inventions, creative works, branding and business information by counseling them on the complex interplay of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and unfair competition laws. I am a native of Wilmington, North Carolina and in addition to being a registered patent agent, I have been practicing law in Eastern North Carolina since late 2004. I am currently work with The Humphries Law Firm, located in historic Downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. My clients run the spectrum from local inventors to corporations out of state and out of the United States.
