Whitney Shea Phillips Foushee was raised in Sanford, North Carolina and graduated from Lee County High School. Upon graduation from high school, she studied at Elon University where she majored in Political Science and History and also minored in International Studies and Latin American Studies, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree and graduating Magna Cum Laude. Upon receiving her undergraduate degree, Whitney attended Campbell University School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate. Following the completion of law school, Whitney began practicing law in Harnett County, North Carolina, where she practiced matters relating to criminal law and family law. In 2015, she relocated her legal practice to Moore County, North Carolina where she joined Van Camp, Meacham & Newman, PLLC and actively practices family law in Moore, Lee, Harnett, Montgomery, Richmond, Hoke and Scotland counties.
Whitney exclusively practices family law in areas that include, but are not limited to, all domestic litigation, military divorce, ex parte emergency child custody, child custody, child support, equitable distribution of marital property, restraining orders, post separation support and alimony, separation, premarital and post marital agreements, grandparent’s rights, and domestic violence matters.
