I was clocked going 63 in a 45 and was facing a court date not really knowing how to defend myself. I choose Attorney Burns based off of the reviews I read about him online and because of the professionalism of his legal assistant (or secretary?) that he has. She was so great and friendly, explaining... my options and gave me a realistic outlook on the case. I got my ticket in November, signed the paperwork with Attorney Burns in December, and then pretty much forgot about it until I got a call one day from his assistant letting me know that Attorney Burns was able to get speeding ticket charges dropped. No court fees, no points, no hike in my insurance rates, no ticket fees. He's like the "set it and forget it" of attorneys. Very easy process. I would definitely recommend him. As far as his legal fees go they were very reasonable. I had called around to many other offices in the area and they appeared to all charge about the same price. I've heard horror stories of attorneys just collecting legal fees and then not really working for the client, he is not like that at all. Definitely worth every penny.

Attorney Burns really took care of me and put me at ease by always keeping me updated on the status of my case. His legal assistant was so sweet and always pleasant over the phone. I was extremely happy with my services from Mr, Burnes. He was very open to all of my questions and had detailed answers so I knew exactly what to expect. Along with a very kind staff who was just as willing to answer any questions I had. I know if I have any trafic problems in the future I will defi...natly be returning to him.

Mr. Burns listened to my situation and gave an honest assessment of what he thought could be done. He made no promises but clearly explained the circumstances and how he believed things could turn out for my case. His office was prompt in taking care of all of the administrative requirements and were... helpful with all of my requests. While other attorneys, after hearing about my particular circumstances surrounding the case, seemed to only be willing to work to get a lessened fine, Mr. Burns stated that he thought there was a 50% chance the case may be dismissed. He ended up having the case completely dismissed and all charges dropped. I paid no court costs and incurred no points on my license. I believe that I ended up paying Mr. Burns less than I would have paid in court fees had I not contested the ticket. I did provide photos and a clear outline of all the details surrounding the ticket as I believed the ticket-issuing officer to have violated traffic laws.

Driving along All-American during the morning rush and going with the flow of traffic, I thought I was doing the right thing by speeding to get out of the way of a Fayetteville police officer tailgating me. After I get over in the right lane the cop passes me and then suddenly slows down to pull me o...ver for doing 68 in a 55. Now I admit that I have gotten my fair share of speeding tickets in the past and was deserved every last one of them, but I thought this was the worst way for a cop to cite someone for speeding and a crappy way to start what was so far a good Friday morning. So on the following Tuesday I decided to Google Traffic lawyers and it brought me to the Avvo website. Although there were several attorneys listed, I decided to go with Attorney Burns because he had the most positive reviews and coincidently he was the closest to my kids daycare after I dropped them off. After meeting with his EXTREMELY nice employee (not sure if her job title was secretary or paralegal) she told me no to worry about a thing. I was input into their system and received multiple updates ranging from my traffic citation uploaded into the system and my invoice for their services. She also stated that all updates will be be posted and I will be emailed once they are complete. She even stated that in some instances Attorney Burns could probably be able to settle this matter before my July 10th court date. Low and behold not even 24 hours later I received a phone call from Attorney Burns office stating that he was able to meet with the district attorney Wednesday morning and my traffic violation was dismissed. I honestly thought this was going to take a lot longer up to at least the court date for this to be resolved, but for it to be complete, over and done with in less than 24 hours I dont think anybody in their lifetime could argue with those results. THANK YOU Attorney Burns. You saved me and protected me from being screwed over by the Fayetteville Police and potential loss of money from my insurance cost rising.
