Richard Whitten Barnes Jr.

Richard Barnes is an experienced family law attorney. Richard handles cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony, separation agreements, mediation, collaborative law, and domestic violence.

While Richard represents clients in all areas of family law, his focus is high conflict child custody cases. He recognizes that many families face special challenges when divorce involves a parent that is suffering with narcissistic, borderline, anti-social or other personality disorder.

Richard represents clients throughout the greater Mecklenburg County area including Cabarrus County, Union County, Iredell County, and Gaston County.
