Do NOT recommend Amy Fiorenza

Amy handled my divorce from my ex-husband. His financial situation was complex, and she lacked any financial or business acumen to understand the financial value/worth of each of the items and what I was due. She was very unresponsive, which unduly aggravated the situation between my ex-husband and... I. She would not return the opposing attorney's calls, e-mails or letters (nor mine) and she was sloppy about deadlines - causing issues at my expense. She definitely should focus on very simple, cut and dry dissolutions and not complicated or adversarial divorce cases. She would mess up the simplest of details in what little correspondence she did write - names were wrong, dates, details - it was embarrassing to me and certainly didn't help my credibility with the mediator (and god forbid it had gone before a judge - I would have been toast). Her fees were very high and the service level and knowledge very low. She is a green attorney and her combative tactics are unprofessional and got me NOWHERE in resolving my divorce and getting the financial support I deserved. She gave me very bad advice which dragged out my divorce for several months longer than it needed to be, and I paid a lot more money to her and received no benefit in return. The constant fighting and bickering she personally encouraged and caused - I look back on it now and realize she did a lot of damage to my relationship with my ex, our daughters, and especially my financial situation. Her filings were frivolous and non-valued added. She missed the big picture and financial value that I would have obtained had I hired a more professional, seasoned attorney.

Amazing- Smartest and Best Domestic Atty in Charlotte

I found Amy was one of the most recommended attorneys for good reason. Not only did she know the law, but she was unbelievable in the courtroom. Her knowledge of complex business valuation tactics was the difference.
