After 18 years of big firm life, I opened my own office specializing in labor, employment, workers compensation, and mediation. Since it is just me, conflicts are very rare. Thus, I am able to represent both employees AND employers. Working on both sides, plus mediating disputes, gives me insight into the total employment situation. I like to think this makes me a better counselor for clients.
