Nancy E. Walker

Nancy Walker is currently Of Counsel with the law firm of Tin Fulton Walker & Owen, PLLC in Charlotte, NC. She is certified as a Superior Court Mediator. Prior to her mediation practice, she was a skilled litigator with over 25 years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. Ms. Walker’s practice areas included personal injury litigation, insurance coverage disputes, business litigation and criminal defense. Ms. Walker has successfully tried over 100 jury trials in courts throughout North Carolina and has argued cases in appellate court. She also has negotiated numerous large settlements for clients before having to proceed to court. She has been recognized by her peers as a “Legal Elite” by Business North Carolina and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Mecklenburg County Bar.

Ms. Walker is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Wake Forest University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Walker was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review, serving as its Business Editor in 1987-1988. She was also elected by her classmates to serve on the Law School Honor Council. Since her graduation in 1988, Ms. Walker has been admitted to practice in North Carolina State Courts, U.S. District Courts of North Carolina for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts and in the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
